The broad evolutionary conservation of the Smurf phenotype (Dambroise et al., 2016) taken together with existing litterature suggest that one might extend the model to humans. In this project, we conducted an assessment of the questions raised by such an extension to humans and its potential impact on public health policies with what ethical issues. This work was published in (Gaille et al., 2020).
